Returning a Dead on Arrival (DOA) Item or a Wrong Item

If you find yourself having received wrong or Dead on Arrival (DOA) goods, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods. We will acknowledge receipt of your request and advise you the proper procedure of returning the goods to us. We will send you the replacement or a refund, subject to below conditions:

  1. Goods are purchased from our website (www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au)
  2. Goods are not working straight out of the box. (DOA)
  3. Goods are not what you have ordered. (Wrong goods)
  4. For wrong goods received, the goods must be returned to us in unopened and unused condition with full and complete packaging including accessories and other material(s).
  5. For DOA goods, the goods must be returned to us in original and undamaged condition with full and complete packaging including accessories and other material(s).
  6. Goods must be returned to our specified address within 14 days after we acknowledge your request.
  7. Goods are returned with a copy of your receipt/invoice.
  8. Goods returned are confirmed to be wrong or DOA after our inspection.
  9. Photo on the Parcel is required with your return request.
  10. After we acknowledge and confirm your return request, we will instruct you to have the goods return to us.
  11. The freight charge(s) for returning the goods to us will be borne by you if the return does not meet the condition(s) specified, in particular, #8 stated above. Otherwise, we will refund the freight charge(s) associated with the return.
  12. Upon confirmation, we will send you the replacement or a refund. 

 

14 Days Money Back Guarantee

You can exercise the right to return an order at your cost and opt for refund. You must notify eGlobaL by email or ticket within 14 days of receiving the goods. We will acknowledge receipt of your request and advise you the proper procedure of returning the goods to us. Your order(s) is/are eligible to a refund excluding delivery cost, subject to below conditions:

  1. Goods are purchased from our website (www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au)
  2. Goods must be unopened, in brand new, re-sellable condition (with all original packaging, all accessories and other material(s)).
    1. DSLR: Shutter count has to be less than 30.
    2. Mobiles & Tablets: Item must be in factory state, and has no scratches.
    3. Apple products: Device must be unactivated.
  3. Goods must be returned to our specified address within 14 days after we acknowledge your request.
  4. Goods are returned with a copy of your receipt/invoice.
  5. After we acknowledge and confirm your return request, you will be given an address to return the goods. Alternatively, we can arrange courier to pick up the goods from delivery address of your order (unless otherwise specified) and have them returned to us. The freight charge(s) for returning the goods to us will be borne by you.
  6. Upon confirmation, we will send you the refund excluding delivery cost.
  7. eGlobaL Reserves the right to accept or reject any money back requests, and the rights of final decision for dispute cases.

 

General Terms & Conditions for Returning Goods

  1. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that returned items are returned safely. We take no responsibility for Products lost or damage of the goods in transit.
  2. Unless specified in the above Terms and Conditions, you agree to bear the cost(s) of returning the goods to our specified address. If you choose to have your order refunded we will refund you the total amount paid less postage, within 3 working days. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  3. Consumables, perishables or goods that are affected by hygiene are not eligible for return.
  4. Due to the complexity of liquid crystal displays on handheld devices, dead or bright pixels may sometimes occur. If the following occurs within DOA period (14 days), then you can ask to replace the LCD
    1. 5 or more dead/bright pixels anywhere on the liquid crystal display.
    2. if there are only 4 dead/bright pixels they must be within 5mm of each other
  5. We reserve the rights not to accept a return if they do not satisfy the conditions stated in the return policy.
  6. eGlobaL reserves the right to make changes to the above Terms and Conditions without notice.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

 

Standard Warranty

  1. All warranty requests have to be made via our RMA system.
  2. The warranty period starts from invoice date, will be including the shipping / return shipping time and repairing time.
  3. The warranty covers:
    1. ^24 months parts and labour costs for the repair of a manufacture defect or fault of production, which resulted in the product malfunctioning.
    2. ^24 months parts and labour costs for the repair of fault of material of the product, which resulted in the product malfunctioning.
    3. 1 month parts and labour costs for the repair of a fault in the material of  
    4. Rechargeable Batteries.
      ^exact coverage depends on the type of products, mentioned in section Warranty Period
    • *The above time limitation doest not limit your rights under the ACL.
    1. Proof of purchase (Invoice or paid order confirmation) must be provided when requesting warranty service.
    2. The warranty is not transferable to a third party.
    3. The eGlobaL warranty, once paid for, warrants the product to operate according to manufacturer's specifications for the period as stated above from the date of Invoice.
    4. Upon us receiving and accepting your payment, we will provide you with cover for your purchase(s) as stated in this warranty.
    5. The warranty is provided by our own company instead of manufacturer's warranty.
    6. If the product comes with a warranty card, you must keep this warranty card in a safe place. The warranty card must be presented in order to make a claim.
    7. If the product is returned to eGlobaL, we will endeavour to ensure the safety of your product(s) while it is in our possession. However, whilst every effort will be made to return your product (and any film, tape, or other recordable media or accessory), eGlobaL cannot accept any liability, nor pay any compensation for the loss of a particular item. You should retain any accessories not required for the repair.
    8. eGlobaL warrants this product to be in good working order during the period of warranty. The period of warranty is the period stated above and commences on the day of invoice. The warranty is subject to proof of purchase; therefore you should retain your payment receipt (PayPal receipt is valid for this purpose).
    9. We may choose to replace your product if the cost of repair is not economical. In the case of the product no longer being available, we may choose to replace it with a similar product of the same or greater value. These values are determined by what the values are at the time of replacement.
    10. You must obtain an authorization for repair from eGlobaL before making warranty claims. The choice of repair is subject to eGlobaL authorization, and we may choose to specify a particular service center. You must inform the service center in writing if you change your address while your product is being repaired.
    11. You will be responsible for the below costs if the fault of the product is not covered by this warranty:
      1. The cost of having the product returned to you
      2. The cost of inspections and diagnostic
      3. The cost of repair
    12. Warranty service does not guarantee the protection of assets and data. You should take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your assets and property (including all software and data) and to minimize potential loss or disruption, including, where appropriate, making full backups of all your software and data and implementing virus checking controls.
    13. eGlobaL goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failure and compenstation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a majore failure.
      Major failure defined as: It has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they'd known about it. It is unsafe. It is signifcicantly different from the sample or description. It doesn't do what the business said it would, or what you asked for and can't easily be fixed.
    14. eGlobaL reserves the right to make changes to the Warranty Terms without notice.

      24 Months: DSLRs, Prosumer/Mirroless Cameras, Compact Cameras, Lenses, Digital Camcorders (Non-Waterproof products)

      12 Months: Waterproof cameras, action cameras, instant cameras, camera light meter, camera flash, mobile phones, tablet pcs, computer, smartwatch, fitness watches, fashion watches, RC toys, audio items, music equipment, game console, gaming keyboard, PS4, car camcorder, memory cards, home appliance, personal care items, external hard drive, computer accessories

      6Months: Waterproof cases, camera lens filters, flash remote

      3Months: RC toy battery (DJI, XIRO)

      *The above time limitation doest not limit your rights under the ACL.

       

       

      Warranty Period Exclusions

      1. Any repaired cost of carrier related issue (e.g. SIM Card, availability, coverage, service, range etc.) of mobile phones and tablets will not be covered by eGlobal.
      2. Any issues caused by the firmware or software, modification to operating system, rooted or jailbroken to the phones or tablets will not be covered by eGlobal Warranty Policy.
      3. Jewellery items are not covered by the warranty.
      4. Any in box accessories are not covered by the warranty. 

       

        Returning the Product

        Where eGlobaL authorizes warranty service of a Product, we will instruct you to return the product to our authorized repair center. eGlobaL may require that the Product be sent to Hong Kong or third party shipping agent in Australia, as directed by eGlobaL. The freight charge(s) for returning the goods to us will be borne by you.

        The Customer is responsible to inspect all goods received from eGlobaL upon arrival. In instances where goods have been damaged in transit, the Customer must report this to eGlobaL within 14 days of receipt of the product. Failure to report physical damage on arrival within 14 days of receipt may result in denial of warranty for physical damage. Please read the terms and conditions for "Returning a Dead on Arrival Item" Section.

        If you require warranty service within 14 days of receiving a faulty item, your order is eligible for a replacement and the freight charge associated. Please follow the terms and conditions for "Returning a Dead on Arrival Item" Section. eGlobaL reserves the right to accept or reject the replacement request within 14 days if the goods does not meet the condition(s) specified in this terms and conditions and the terms and conditions for "Returning a Dead on Arrival Item".

         

        Exclusions

        1. Wear and tear
        2. Damage caused by impact, shock, fall, sand, dust, dirt, dampness, leaking batteries, fire, theft, attempted theft, accidental or malicious damage, vandalism, acts of war or terrorism, corrosion, water contamination or ingress, frost, flooding, winds, earthquakes, lightning or other adverse weather conditions
        3. Improper usage, storage or handling of the product
        4. Any damage due to operating with incorrect or irregular voltage supply
        5. A breach of the terms and conditions of this warranty or the contract terms
        6. Failure to follow our written instructions for the product, or those of the manufacturer
        7. Damage or defect due to willful neglect or negligence by anyone other than us
        8. Loss of quality, degradation of performance or actual damage that results from the use of spare parts or other replaceable items (such as consumables) that are neither made nor recommended by the manufacturer
        9. Modification to the product and/or software/firmware, by someone other than our representatives
        10. The product serial has been removed or made illegible
        11. Connection of other fittings, accessories, equipment or software to the product which were not approved by us
        12. External causes out of our control which may include accidents, fire disasters or burglaries
        13. Faults caused by shock or fall, sand, dust, dirt, dampness or corrosion, leaky batteries, repair or cleaning by unauthorized personnel
        14. Any malfunctions or specific requirements of any other item of hardware or software which you added to the product that was not included in the contract
        15. Correction of errors for any non-eGlobaL or original manufacturer proprietary software
        16. Loss or damage of data
        17. Attaching the product to a network not approved by us, or if you have made changes to your operating or network system
        18. Not installing any error correction that we issue for the software
        19. Use of which is not designed
        20. Damaged Display on Screen (LCD) due to improper usage
        21. Non-Manufacturer Defect on Lenses
        22. Liquid damage
        23. DJI: Damages caused by non-manufacturing factors are not subject to warranty service
        24. Products not on the list in the section Warranty Period
        25. Damage due to improper packing during shipment to service center or service agent
        26. Waterproof Cameras, waterproof bags
          1. Damages due to impact, exceeding recommended depths, etc. would void the warranty. Please be advised that the warranty offered is strictly for the purchased item only. eGlobaL will not be held liable for any defects or damage on any other item(s) used in conjunction with this product.
        27. Waterproof casings
          1. Damages due to impact, exceeding recommended depths, etc. would void the warranty. Please be advised that the warranty offered is strictly for the purchased item only. eGlobaL will not be held liable for any defects or damage on any other item(s) used in conjunction with this product.
          2. eGlobaL Digital Cameras will send the faulty Waterproof case to the manufacturer for waterproof / pressure testing to the specifications of the product as out lined by the manufacturer. The buyer will be required to be responsible for the repair fee if the test is passed and any cost of transport as required.
        28. Waterproof Mobile Phones
          1. The warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, exposure to liquid, moisture, dampness, sand or dirt, neglect, or unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress. eGlobaL will not be held liable for any defects or damage on any other item(s) used in conjunction with this product.
        29. Quad-copters, Remote Control toys
          1. The warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:
            1. Crash or burning due by non-manufacturing factors.
            2. Damage caused by operating the unit in electromagnetic interference environment (i.e. mining area, radio transmitting tower, high-voltage wire, substation, and etc)
            3. Damage caused by operating the unit in a known environment with interference with wireless devices (i.e. transmitter, video-link, Wi-Fi signals etc.)
            4. Damage caused by operating the unit with a weight greater than the safe takeoff weight
            5. Damage caused by operating the unit with a low charged or defective battery.
          2. eGlobaL will not be held liable for any defects or damage on any item(s) used in conjunction with this product.
        30. Our Korean version mobiles are exported goods designed for usage outside Korea region. If customer use the mobile within Korea,  it may trigger region restriction by local carriers or manufacturers. Under this circumstance, eGlobal takes no responsibility to warrant non-functioning products due to region restrictions.
